The last two years have shown how much the European supply of goods is dependent on Asia. That is why we at Schmid Schrauben have been relying on local production and quality "Made in Austria" for many years.

But even if you always hope for a positive development in demand, we couldn′t foresee the last two years either. Double-digit percentage increases in demand for our products, simultaneous shortages of raw materials and the ability of our suppliers and service providers to deliver have pushed us to the limits of our possibilities.
